Poynton Lacrosse First Team ...

Having won the Senior Flags knockout competition in 2016 for the first time in our history, Poynton's 1st Team went on to defend it for the next three seasons. In 2018 the team also travelled to Ghent to achieve another club first by winning the European Club Champions crown, a season that also saw them top of the Premier League, as well as winning the Senior Flags final. In 2019 Poynton's First team successfully defended the Senior Flags title for the 4th year in a row. Poynton 1st team have achieved further successes in the first half of the 2020's in both the league and the Senior Flags Cup Competition.

This season the team is again focused on securing victory in the Senior Flags competition as well as improving on last year’s second-place league finish. We are fortunate to have a strong squad featuring several current England and Team GB squad members, long serving senior members and an extremely talented crop of young players.

The 1st team will play Premier League fixtures every Saturday afternoon at 2pm. You can view fixtures and results by clicking on the tab below. Games are played both home and away with all home fixtures being played at Poynton Sports Club on the pitch nearest to London Road.
