Poynton Lax A TeamThe A team continued in the fiercely competitive North 1 League for the 2018-2019 season.

In the second season of the newly restructured league the A team needed to needed to hit the ground running in the conference set-up in order to qualify for the top A team division. Once there the team had some very difficult games but managed to fight their way through to consolidate their spot for the 2019-2020 season.

The team will start again this year with a strong mix of both experienced and younger players. Another new structure will likely see the division dominated by many of the top A and B teams.

Watch out for some close, very competitive games which can only help improve our younger players as they aim to secure a First team place. We will be looking for a top of the table finish and challenging for silverware in the Cup competition.

Unfortunately, under the current RETURN TO PLAY guidelines, spectaors are currently not permitted to attend fixtures that take place on private land other than those who are parents of players aged under 18. As soon as we are able to welcome spectators back we will update these fixtures.
